Welcome to Roots the Foundation
I'm Surbhi Sethia — a psychotherapist, child psychologist, and expressive arts therapist with over 20 years of experience helping people move through what words alone can't reach. My approach blends expressive arts therapy and psychodrama with trauma-informed clinical practice, giving clients — especially adolescents and young adults — a language for what they're carrying, long before they have the words for it.

Surbhi Sethia is a psychotherapist, emotional wellness facilitator, expressive arts therapist, parenting coach, and workshop facilitator with over two decades of experience in emotional and mental well-being. Her work focuses on creating emotionally safe spaces where individuals can express themselves freely, process their emotions, and reconnect with their inner strength and identity. Over the years, she has worked with children, adolescents, adults, parents, women, educational institutions, corporate organizations, and emotional wellness communities. Her approach integrates counselling, expressive art therapy, psychodrama, emotional intelligence practices, reflective healing methods, and experiential learning to support deeper emotional understanding and personal transformation.
Known for her warm, compassionate, and deeply human approach, Surbhi believes healing happens when people feel emotionally seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. Through initiatives such as Wellness With Surbhi and Celtic Bond Mom groups, she continues to build communities and healing spaces that encourage emotional awareness, authentic conversations, collective healing, and personal growth. She has facilitated workshops and spoken on emotional wellness, parenting, resilience, workplace well-being, relationships, and mental health awareness across national and international platforms, including forums associated with the United Nations. Her vision is to normalize emotional conversations and make healing spaces more accessible, compassionate, and human-centered for individuals and communities alike.
